For God so Loved the World

john 3 16

Acts 20

27 For I did not hold back from announcing to you the whole purpose of God.

Today, I was speaking to a lady who is a strong believer in the faith. When I told her I manage various blogs for the glory of God, she said I was helping spread the Word of God to many who otherwise may not be able to hear it. Then, I thought, “I am doing the Lords will with my life and helping spread his word. It can’t get better than that.”

I am His vessel. God is using me at his will. All I do is obey his command and spread his Word, the Word of salvation through him, and him only. For there is no other way to eternal life but by believing in Jesus, who died, was buried, and resurrected to atone our sins.

What is the plan of salvation?

A very simple one. Believe that Jesus died, was buried, rose again, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father and we shall have eternal life.

John 3: 16

16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

There is no need to add, take away, nor embellish the simple plan of salvation. It speaks for itself. Believe in the Son of God, and we shall be saved.

Prayer for the Day

Lord, today I heard your simple plan of salvation and I believe in your son Jesus Christ. I believe that he died, was buried, resurrected, and is now sitting at your right hand. I accept the truth of salvation and want to live eternally by your side.

If you said this prayer, and believe it in your heart, then you are now a child of God. Read the Bible, join a church, and continue growing in Faith.

God be with you, today and always.

Hypocrite no More: A Sincere Heart

mark 7 6

Today’s Word: Hypocrite

A person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess

Today’s Verses

Mark 7: 6

He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written:

‘This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Mathew 6: 5

“Whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray while standing in synagogues and on street corners so that people can see them. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward.

Hypocrite is a very harsh word. It condemns those who are such. However, it is a truth to be told. It is unfortunate that there are hypocrites among us. They are persons that we see and talk to in our everyday life. They go around preaching to others with empty words, heartless words, as their backing is not Christianity but personal gain and public recognition. They wish to be seen as devoted Christians, when truly, they are not. They stand among the many shouting loud words so those surrounding them can hear them. They embellish their speech as to appear godly.

It is not the words spoken that profess our love for God, but our daily actions that express it. Our lips can move and say enough words to let others think we are with God, but truth be told, our heart, our intentions, and our sincerity is seen, heard, and felt by God, without the need for words.

God Hears our Hearts

Our hearts hold our true belief, thoughts, and knowledge. It bears our souls, our burdens, and our conviction. A heart for God resides in each of us that is saved. It holds the Holy Spirit that guides us each day.

A sincere and pure heart will seek God’s approval, not man’s approval. It recognizes that it is better to be good with God, than good with the world. It understands that to be accepted by God leads to our eternal salvation. Whereas to be accepted by man leads to earthly desires and preoccupations.

Because our heart is the bearer of our soul, God can hear it. He can hear its sincerity. He can discern what it says from what it means. He cannot be fooled by empty spoken words.

God Sees our Intentions

When we speak aloud about our intentions, God sees our true nature. He knows that what we are saying may or may not be the truth intended. Whereas we can fool man with words, God sees what we really are capable of or what we really mean.

Our intentions are clear to Him. There is no way to hide them. We need not waste our words by speaking beautifully in front of a crowd when there is no love in our heart, nor meaning in our words. We need to act the way we intend to and let others see that our life speaks for us.

God Feels our Sincerity

It doesn’t matter what we say, God knows our sincerity. It is not the words expressed but the meaning behind each. Because God lives in us through the Holy Spirit, he can feel our sincerity. He knows when we are truthful and when we are not. He knows when we are sincere and when we are not.

He can feel what we are trying to convey, and what we are trying to portray. He sees past the window of our soul and reaches to our true reflection of who we are. He is in us. He lives in us. He is with us.

Joy and Celebration

images

Luke 15

10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”

Joy in Heaven

I can only imagine the wonderful sight and sound of the angels in Heaven when a sinner repents and accepts Jesus Christ as their savior. That is all I can do. It is an overwhelming thought, as I cannot comprehend the splendor and glory of it. I can only imagine it.

I imagine trumpets sounding harmonious, angelical voices shouting in joy, and great sounds of celebration throughout the Heavens. What a thought!!! It must be quite a sight.

Each time a sinner repents, the angels rejoice. Yes, it is cause for a celebration. It is cause for JOY.

Each person that receives salvation is important to God, to Jesus, and to the Holy Spirit.

Celebration of Life

When we become parents, we feel the joy of a new child’s birth. We want to celebrate it with family and friends. We let everyone know that we have welcomed a new family member.

Afterwards, we want to protect them, give them the best life possible, we want to see them happy, and filled with joy.

Same way, God is with us. He celebrates our salvation, then wants to protect us, give us the best life possible, and wants to see us happy.

This is why he gives us the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. It guides us, it directs us, it gives us warnings, it provides us comfort, it wraps us in love.

Kingdom Awaits

As important as a child is to a mother and father, so are sinners important to God. He wants to see each repent of their sins, accept Jesus as their savior, and receive His Salvation.

God wants to share His Kingdom with all who believe in Him, receive Him, and abide in his love. He will go to the ends of the Earth to find each of us that has gone astray and lead us back to him. When he finds us,

THERE IS JOY IN HEAVEN

Family: A Spiritual Unity

family1

Today’s Word

Family

Those who descend from one common progenitor; a tribe or race; kindred; lineage.

A brotherhood of persons or nations united by political or religious ties.

Today’s Verse

1 Peter 2

17 Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.

Earthly Family

When we are born, we become part of our earthly family. They provide us with our physical needs. They teach us about love, unity, and care. We form a bond that lasts a lifetime. We become part of its history.

Spiritual Family

When we are born again, we become part of our spiritual family. A unity formed by our belief in Jesus Christ, his resurrection, and our salvation. It teaches us about loving one another, honoring those around us, and respecting each other. We are part of the body of Christ; we become sisters and brothers in faith. We form a bond that last through eternity. We become part of the Book of Life.

Note:

I thank my parents for giving me life, so that I could live and choose to love God, and so I could find His promises of life everlasting, faith by His Grace, and love unconditional.

Do you have a spiritual family?

13  – children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband’s decision, but by God.
